Heat reflecting glass
The thermal reflective glass is coated with metal film and some interference layers on the surface, so that the glass products can reflect to achieve shading and have rich colors. Thermal reflective glass has strong reflection to visible light and long wave, and its function is to restrict the sun to enter the room.
Disadvantages: the thermal insulation of thermal reflective glass is similar to that of transparent glass, so it is not suitable for indoor cold areas with large temperature difference, but in areas with strong light. Reflecting glass not only reflects the sun, but also limits the access of visible light, which will cause adverse effects on indoor lighting. A low-E coating is formed on the glass surface by vacuum deposition. The function of low-e coating is first to reflect far-infrared, the heat transfer coefficient of glass; second to reflect the sun, there is a choice of sun shading coefficient; at the same time, compared with thermal reflective glass, glass does not limit the penetration of visible light much.
Disadvantages: due to the poor strength of the film, it is generally made of hollow glass instead of being used alone.
